C.I.C.S. Bucktown is fortunate to have a state of the  art technology program for our students. We have  120 wireless laptop  computers with high-speed Internet access.  These laptops are kept in a C.O.W (computers on wheels) which is rolled into classrooms during various lessons. In addition, all classrooms have two desktop computers and teachers have the use of LCD projectors and specially outfitted laptops.  Our digital cameras are used frequently by teachers and students alike. 

Technology is integrated into all areas of our curriculum by students and teachers using the Internet, Word, Powerpoint, Excel, Kidspiration, Inspiration, KidPix, PAINT, Scholastic Reading Counts, Lexia Reading Programs and Type to Learn software. All students are taught how to utilize these tools to enhance their learning experience.

All of our students and their parents must understand and sign an Acceptable Use Policy stating that they will abide by strict rules when using our computers and Internet.
